Our Governance Board is a group of elected parents, staff and associate community governors. They bring a broad range of skills, perspectives and knowledge that shape the running of The Sixth Form Centre, working in close partnership with our Senior Leadership Team.

We are grateful for the knowledge and enthusiasm members of the board provides as they oversee the strategic direction of The Sixth Form Centre. They monitor our performance, covering a range of areas such as teaching and learning, finance, staffing, and strategic direction and operations, for the benefit of all of our learners.

Our Governance Board meets three times per year. Throughout the year, they work to engage with students, parents, colleagues and the wider community.

Governor training is important, and regular training is provided for our governors so that they can offer robust support and challenge across their broad remit.
