The Sixth Form Centre

The Core Mathematical Studies course aims to build on the knowledge, understanding and skills established in GCSE Mathematics. The qualification focusses on mainly familiar mathematics in a range of contexts to help prepare students to be competent and confident in using maths in their studies, careers and lives. The course provides useful maths skills and is strongly recommended for students studying A Levels in:

• Economics
• Environmental Science
• Geography
• Psychology
